A Good Man Is Gone

This week I had one of my best friends since high school die. He was crushed at work. He was a good man, a good father, and a good husband. We shared some very good parts of our lives together. He was the only one out of our group of friends to stay in our home town, as did I. My only regret is taking for granted that we lived in the same town together, and not spending more time with him and his family. The wake, and funeral were impressive, over 2,200 people were there. they had to keep bringing out extra guset books, 5 total.
