Exciting News
So I un expectantly got accepted to nursing school in VA as well as at UNC (among other places, but thats not relevant). I had applied and thought about returning to school about a year ago. Well I had been accepted to both schools about a year ago, and decided not to attend school at all. Well my letter from UNC came last week followed by one from this VA nursing school this week. Essentially VA they said they would re-offer my admission because of my outstanding qualifications for either this fall or the following January, and UNC asked me to consider re-applying due to the fact I was previously a top applicant, and even waived my application fee. Oddly enough I was just re-thinking returning to school in the last couple weeks. I don't know if I'm going to do anything with it/if I can afford to. But regardless it was just really nice to be out of the norm recognized.
 Just thought I'd share

Where at in VA ?
Good thing about VA and N.C. is its warm here most of the year and rarely any snow.

Some parts of Chesapeake are more rural but very nice. Norfolk is the financial,cultural and entertainment hub of the area,thats where the downtown vibe is. Va Beach is the resort/beach party city. All in all its fun.

Yeah theres a few campuses one in Norfolk, another in VA beach, I'm actually not sure which one the nursing school is.

what a coincidence...i live in chesapeake. what school is it? sounds kinds like tcc with campuses in chesapeake and norfolk. if it is. the chesapeake campus is just a couple min from me. that is exciting. i think you should go for it if you want it.

i applied to mcdonalds once
they called me several days later sayin they wanted me to come down and talk to them about getting a job apparently i was such a good applicant that they decided they wanted to hire me for a job!!

Yeah I had a lot of trouble when I went to college getting scholarships because I wasn't a US Citizen. However, I am now, and that gives me a lot more options. *crosses fingers*

If you get a job at Norfolk General Hospital you better get a bicycle to ride down the halls lol. It is MASSIVE. It has CHKD built into it.
