Rep is great in all but when you get rep from asking for it and having to remind people I dont think it means anything...

7 out of 10 people are not going to give rep for help...But thats not the point...You can 5,000 rep points and still just copy and paste your life away...

Just have fun and dont sweat the details...The water will all run clear in the end...

All im saying is that for hard work you deserve a reward...

Look at those like the Gold Stars you got in grade school for doing good tasks... I just enjoy having my Gold Stars off to the side to look at.

wow, i didn't give a shit about gold stars when i was in grade school. i give even less of a shit about it now...
i knew the whole rep thing was going to turn out like this when it started. i don't know why people are surprised. the people i try to help out can thank me, which shows me that my help was appreciated, or they don't say thank you. i don't get butthurt if they don't thank me. and the ones that get some kind of attitude or don't believe me and expect me to prove something to them can basically go fuck themselves. i'm not here to prove shit to anybody, but i do try to help people out. that's how my rep system works...

People need to quit debating what rep points and post counts are good for. Its obvious what they are good for. Its to establish some sort of hierarchy and trust on a communication medium that allows for anonymity and elusiveness ....aka the internet.

We dont have facial expressions,hand gestures,language or voice inflection that humans use to communicate. So you gotta do with the best you got. In this case its rep points and post counts.
