what is irritating me is how serious people take rep. Shit, a week ago i coulda given everyone on the forum negative rep and they wouldn't have known the difference.

if you want to call it a popularity contest then do so... i see it as those with high reputations are high contributers to this forum... those with low rep don't care/contribute ... that is all
