Once again, i NEVER said companies pressure people into buying them. People's self-consciousness makes them think that it will look like they didn't take any time to pick out a present if they don't buy a gift card. Honestly whens the last time you got money in a gift and were upset or thought wow they probably threw this together this morning? Never i would hope. It's a self conscious thing.. if people didn't worry about looking lazy then no one would buy gift cards.
