Dial up blows

mine is horrible

oh, and for the ppl who use dial up (for some reason) my dsl (numbers above) only cost $15 a month

Yeah same here I can get satellite here but its like 150 a month. And you cant use it when the weather is bad. And I cant get high speed here or else my dad would have it by now. There is like 3 houses within 5 miles of me so it isnt cost practical to bring it out here

mine sure suck and its 60-70$ monthly

DMAX FTMFL DAMN I HATE IT.. i'm on the wireless tho which is slower on the stupid speedtouch modems.. it's supposed to be 1 or 2 mb but according to that i have 768 k speed WTF?

how come i never see those download speeds?.. they always top out at 30-40 kb/s in weird cases they get to a steady 400 kb/s and limewire is always at 300 kb/s....

so a Demo is downloaded at supid 30 kb/s but my internet is faster than that.. why?

There is a physical phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering that causes light to scatter when it passes through particles that have a diameter one-tenth that of the wavelength (color) of the light. Sunlight is made up of all different colors of light, but because of the elements in the atmosphere the color blue is scattered much more efficiently than the other colors. So when you look at the sky on a clear day, you can see the sun as a bright disk. The blueness you see everywhere else is all of the atoms in the atmosphere scattering blue light toward you. (Because red light, yellow light, green light and the other colors aren't scattered nearly as well, you see the sky as blue.)

lots of variables man, eather the server is loaded with peeps downloading, the server is too far away or your internet sucks.
