Turned it off, put it on charge. When I took it off and turned it on it says "Insert SIM" but the SIM card is in there.

Verizon does not have shitty customer service. I'm a tech for Flextronics on the Verizon account. I am apart of customer service with them.

And the CDMA network with 1xrtt and 1xevdo (Rev A) technology is better than GSM, 3G, W-UMTS CDMA, EDGE, and any other network or technology you can throw at it. The verizon network has $6 billion pumped into it each year for engineering, design, and fixing.

Now I know Verizon phones, and also since Verizon doesn't use a sim card the calls are clearer. I can't wait to go to Verizon. I'm gettin the LG VX10000(Voyager)

if you do some texting, but not that much you really won't need a qwerty keyboard. Me ever since I got a smartphone I'm used to full qwerty keyboard.

The juke is a phone specifically made for music(2 gigs of internal memory), but to me looks girlish as hell.

The LG VX 9900(EnV) us nice since its a phone on the front that opens up to a full qwerty keyboard, and a larger screen with two speakers. Pretty popular phone, and I rarely ever have to do anything with one. The new chocolate (LG VX8550) is so much nicer than the original chocolate. More sleek look to it, problems fixed, nice little slider. Never have I had to fix one.

The Venus is nice as well, but the touchscreen on it is a little slow.

Me personally if I was you I would get the 8550, with a memory card, music essentials pack, and possibily bluetooth home speakers.

Now with the plans I don't know what your usage is so I can't help you out there.

i used verizon for almost 3 years. Everytime i had a discrepency with my bill they refused to acknowledge that they made a mistake. I would get bills of upwards of 300 dollars a month because they had me on the wrong plan. each time they resolved the issue, but the next bill would come and i would be charged 300 bux again.

we've had verizon for probably 7 or 8 years maybe? anywho the first couple of bills they did that, but after my dad called and chewed em out a few times and fixed it we haven't had any problems since

Those are, but if your planning on sticking with AT&T I will look at some of their phones. I have them now. I have the Blackjack. I just hate the company, and have since before I worked for Flextronics.

cricket is it true that after the beginning of the year that verizon is going to open up their network so that any phone will work on it? like even ones with sim cards and stuff? thats what someone has told me
