so my mom took it to the extreme..she thinks im a drug dealer..mainly cuz my little brother was at the mall with our aunt and saw me go in and out of the mall 3 times..but i had a reason for it..i met someone up there to sell my subs..and then i bought something and i feel gay walking around with a bag in my hand..but anyways she turned off my phone and when i leave she tells me to make good decisions.. i mean ive never even been into drugs..she thinks i have a hidden bank account and she wants to go get me tested which i won t fail but still..ahh and im bored and thought id share my life with people idk

Feel fortunate that you have a Mom that cares about you. I know that sounds sappy but its not. Youre lucky. Too many kids ARE doing drugs and their parents dont get invloved... I even know of parents that do shit WITH their kids. Anyhow, go find your MOM and give her a real big hug and tell her thanks for careing and loving you. Dont take that shit for granted kid, its a good thing.


Then ask her if she wants to go hit a bowl with ya...JK. Seriously, its tough being a parent and someday you'll know for yourself. You just dont want to see your babies in harms way. Especially not over a few bucks made on drugs.

IMO-- dont waste your money or let your Mom spend her hard earned money on a drug test. Demand that she trust you... earn her trust. Otherwise she'll have you back in a lab every time you turn around. Earn her trust and you'll both be better off in the long run.

do what i do tell your mom u deal in needles and guns, my mother detects the severe sarcasm and drops it haha. but then again i only smoke pot and she only gets mad if im cooked in front of relatives which i only did once and thats cuz i didnt know they would be at my house when i got there.

I see where your comin from, but you gotta see both sides of this as well. Nothing speaks the truth like a hard hit in the wallet. If she is gonna accuse him for some weak "evidence" and just jump to conclusions and take those extremes then I think she deserves to have a figurative slap in the face for goin to those extremes without talking to her child. I don't know the whole story, and there is probably more to it than I know, but still.

I just think that what his Mom did (really nothing) is not that "extreme" as to elevate it that far yet. If she cares like he says, than she hasnt done anything yet EXCEPT ask him if he's doing anything stupid. I mean, if she was really concerned, she would have taken him right to a clinic. Obviously she knows he's headed toward college soon where he will be tempted to experiment with all kinds of shit. His Mom is smart. She is "testing" the waters. Thats all. I'll bet she wants to see his reaction to the question. If he goes running to a lab, thats too big of a response. Running in and out of a mall does not mean you do drugs and she knows that. Sure there are people that SELL drugs like that but he has given no sigh of USING. Going and getting tested will prove nothing about selling drugs. Lots of peeps sell and dont use.

Look, if I thought my boy was using or dealing, I would ask him first. If he then ran to get a lab test, I'd be suspicious as hell and worried! If I REALLY thought he was using and had REAL evidence, my reaction would be swift and severe and much different.

I have to say help your Mom feel at ease with you going to school soon. Shes nervous and doesnt want you to become a statistic while you take your first flight away from her nest.

I'm just speaking from my experience, and how things work in my house.

Did I use to do drugs? Yea, I did.

I also talked to my mom all about it from when I did. Me and my mom are pretty open about talking about anything. I'm extremely close with her, and love her more than anything, but if my mom threatened to have my tested, and cut my phone off, and only goin on by what another family member called and said just because I walked in and out of a building a couple times. I would flip a shit. The fact of it is she acted BEFORE talking to him. She can't hold on forever, and in my mind during the teenage years is a transitional period of testing waters with your child on responsibility to see if your child is ready to leave, and to nudge your child in the right direction. You can't hold their hand forever.

If she knows anything, she'll know that good drug dealers dont use cell phones anyway. And if she's real quick, she'll look at the details on the bill to see what #s are coming in and out and when.

shutting that phone off was an attention getter or shut off for an unrelated reason like being late on the bill. If she did indeed shut it off because she honestly thought you were using/dealing and by shutting it off it would stop you, she's nuts. Go get tested.... and have her tested too.
