i am looking for a good sniper rifle forum. i just bought a new rifle and would like to find some good solid info. i bought a remington 700 pss in .308 with a leupold mark 4 scope. lemme know if yall know of a good one

Me too. I went to the shooting range, and I was looking at a Remington 12 ga. in the pro shop. I want that shotgun and an H&K .45

My brother found a musket burried with his metal detector. He found it burried next to an old canal in NW Ohio. It was worth some $$ but not a whole lot. He kept it. Ive been trying to get him to shoot it for years.... he's a pussy and wont do it.

i have quite a few LR rifles, and shoot alot of competitions, its my other hobby. even more expensive than cars, got some LR rifle setups that top $10K

i just found snipers hide, and im on ar15.com. ive just started getting into the sniper rifle stuff here lately and im sure ill sink some solid money into it. ill probably seell the luepold, and buy either a shmidt and bender or a us optics, and im also having the trigger tuned, and the action trued and squared. itll allready shoot about 1/2 moa as it sits now, but id like to go better, and that was with factory ammo. ill need to get into reloading also to really get great performance out of it

S&B FTMFW they ROCK, i use them on almost all of my rifles. they are very expensive, but worth every penny.

if you need a good GS call jered at patriot arms, he is the man, builds all my shit. does an awesoem job with the remmy trigger. he takes it all apart, and does his thing to every little part. you can tune it yourself though, and while its decent, its not great.

get a badger bolt knob installed, either a AICS, or MCM stock, make suure you have good mounts for the scope too, badger ordnance is the only way to go in my book, then save for a action blueprint, and whole build deal.

Check out Seekins rings as well, better than badger in my opinion.

The pss rifle is like the mustang of guns, so many mods you can do to it. It's a .75-1moa rifle out of the box, can be made to a .25moa gun but that takes alot of work.

My brother has a rem 5r milspec .308 and that gun is crazy! I hope my fn spr is just as good....

I hope to get into reloading sometime but as of now I want to break my gun in and see how good it is with match ammo which I read can shoot .3-.5moa with a skilled shooter out of a FN SPR and federal gold match ammo, we will see...

ive personally never tried the seekins rings. USMC uses badger rings without failure, so they're obviously tough.

yeah, the milspecs are crazy, i would look at them as the SVT of stock rifles, little bit more supremo. shoot like crazy, and are just all around great, ive had a couple of those. most of the time jsut bough tthem cheap to sell them for profit. but i did keep one, and eventually sold it.

the FN SPR is a great rifle, my current "beater gun" you might say is a SPR A1a with TPS rings, a falcon menace 10X42 scope, and all the other goodies, thing shoots good, will hold .6MOA with the crap 168GR match ammo. not the good stuff like black hills, or FGMM, but even loves the crap ammo.
