guy threatened me for "racing" in a residential area

just as the title suggests, this guy threatened me in front of my house. yelling at me talking i was racing my car. and if i hit his kids he will kill me and blah blah blah. now how is it racing when your going 40? and this guy was jus going as fast as i was to get to my house smoking his tires in his Nissan titan.
lol o well because i can understand how he feels about his kids but i only seen them once so i dont know whats that about. so do you think he was right. probably shouldnt be going that fast by my house but still. i didnt do anything to my car( yet bought it all modded up) so its not my fault my car is loud. just wanted to rant a little bit ask if yall think he was right to do what he did.. keep in mind he did threatened my life lol i love my car!!!

Man, try to understand his position. He may have overreacted, but you can imagine the toughts going through his head when he thinks about one of his kids being hit by a car.

doesnt matter how fast he was going. if he has a problem call the police and complain. if a cop comes to me and says they got a complaint, i will stop. if a guy comes to me threatening to kill me im going to beat the shit out of him.

I don't think 40 is very fast but I don't know how big your neighborhood is. Most people know right and wrong so if you think you where hot rodding and showing out, like blipping the throttle down the street or just maybe reving it up then you where, if you where doing nothing wrong then I would have slapped him and said "move on". If you TRULY where not showing out I wouldn't put up with that. Not too mention I would never allow someone to pull in front of my driveway and threaten my life. That could get a man hurt who does that.

40 is a lil fast for a residential area....Most are regulated to 15-25 at best due to children and other things... IMO...

Police involved+loud ass mustang with potential emissions violations= big pain in your ass from the 5 0

And 40 is definantly too fast for most neighborhoods

40 isn't that fast...but it is a little excessive in a residential neighborhood. I'd side with him if he wasn't peeling out and going just as fast as you insisted. i can't stand hipocrits.

Don't speed where kids play and it won't happen again.

I have no problem going 25mhp in a 25mph zone.
I don't feel like hitting a kid (wiping blood off your bumper sucks)

But seriously, 40?? come on man slow it down. How old are you anyway? I remember being that young and speeding everywhere I went. Just slow down a little. But stand your ground with that guy or he will give you problems from here on out.
