shaker 1000

What are the differences between the shaker 500 and 1000? my old man has the 500 in his gt california special 2007, and it cranks pretty nice for a stock system. Just wondering, anyone have it? if so, have you ever compared it to another system?

yeah ones 500 with some so called subs in the doors
and the other ones a 1000 watts the said subs in the door and i think it has like 2 10's in the trunk too

the 1000 has 2 10's in the sub (each with a 500 watt Amp) producing a total of 1000 watts, vs the 2 250 watt amps in the shaker 500

Im thinking of taking mine out for weight, but will probably keep it

but stock 460 is cool for me. Im not big into sound in cars.

you can't even hear the 500's bass outside the car... well hardly lol

hits pretty good for a stocker on the inside though
