Wireless


So let me get this right? I can just buy a router and have wireless internet without paying for a isp every single month?

huh? how does buying a router make the internet free?

you would still need to pay for an isp ...unless your just planning on stealing a neighbors internet with the router or something...which is illegal but free...but your signal probably wouldnt be too good

No, it doesn't work that way. A wireless router will transmit a wireless signal so any computer with a wireless card can pick up the signal and have wireless internet. However you need to have an ISP for a wireless router to work. You can leech off someone elses wireless router if your computer has a wireless card. I do it all the time when I'm working.

yeah you have to plug something into the router so it has a signal to send out
