GPS

I got a Magellan GPS for Christmas. Probably the coolest toy Ive gotten in a long time. I finally found a place to mount it right in the car. It was a bitch with the "curvy" dashboard. There's like no flat spots. I went ahead and just stuck it to the windshield for now.

Anyone else have one? Where did you stick it?

They say that people are bustin into cars to steal them all the time now. Makes me a bit nervous with my "plastic" top car.

Have you ever had a problem with it falling off? Have you bought any of the upgrades online?

Im glad I got mine. I never shopped for them as it was a gift. Its real easy to use on the fly. I dont need all the whistles and bells Ive heard that some have. I think you can get a service that alerts you of traffic problems and stuff. I dont really need that. It will help me make money because I can focus on my next account rather than trying to focus on just getting there on time without getting too lost. I do like the "bitch" that talks to me that way I never have to even look at it. When I miss a turn, she starts yelling at me. Its kind of funny. But Im real happy with it so far because it really makes getting around real easy. Mine has a bunch of points of interest but the only ones that really help me are the gas stations.

Have you ever played the "scavanger hunt" thing with it?

Thats funny. Thats where I was putting mine for a while. Then I just put it in my lap. I wonder if I could take one of the AC vents out and mount it in there somehow.

nah, i like it in the cupholder as on some of the roads here in texas there aren't any street lights, and the backlit LCD blinds the fuck out of me.

Ive only heard a little about it. Apparently you use the GPS coordinates to hide shit and other people try to find it er something.

Part of the idea is that you do it on "foot". Like hiking and shit like that.

Cheapest I ever bought gas was 69 cents a gallon and it didnt matter cause my 82 rabbit got like 30 or better to the gallon and I never drove more than a mile at a time.
