well on my way home from work yesterday I was going down 5th street going 30mph and this dump ass in a expedition decides he is going to stop at a stop sign on a side street and go. so he goes for it I slam on the brakes and nailed him on his passenger side rear door. he got ou and said sorry and his friend said "I told him to stop I told him to stop but he didnt listen" and then the lil punk kid driver said "sorry dude you where in my blind spot" WTF blind spot? you can see to the right up the road! I was soooo pissed and I tried my hardest not to punch the kid and I said "you need to watch where your fuckin going!" so the cops come and the kid said he had no inshurance a she cited him and let him drive off after getting his info. so since i have libility only im screwed im going to have to take him to court. what got me is that the cop let the kid drive off with out any inshurance! WTF??? and so i have to go pick up police report the 21st.

and went and got an estimate and its gonna be $3080.00 to fix so insurance is going to total my jeep... stupid punk kid!











and to top it all off it started to snow and all my fams cars suck in snow! ERRRRRR

Maybe your pics don't everything but the jeep looks like its not dead. I would just fix the headlight and call it a day.

I would but the whole front panel is just hanging there if i put in a light it will sag down like a pair of 90yo titties. and the fender is rubbing on the wheel. and it pushed the radiator brackets up so the fan is hitting the shroud.

I'd ditch the shroud and zip tie the front panel on. Yes its ghetto, but sure beats losing a car.

if your rad cradle is punched then take him to court your looking at more repairs then that jeep looks like its worth.

your gonna be lucky to get paid. the kid did/doesnt have insurance, that means you gotta fight with him. maybe he does have ins and the cops called it in or got it faxed in...

well i was thinking if they do total it n they give me what its worth then im going to buy it back and with the $$$ im going to buy me a 4.0 ho jeep insted of my 2.8. lol then im going to fix it for my mom n give it to her for a winter beater since she needs a car thats good in the snow.

yeah...that's pretty messed up how the kid gets to drive away w/o any insurance. In Florida, if you cancel your insurance (or vice versa - your insurance company cancels your policy), they report it to the DMV. The DMV then sends a letter stating if you do not get some sort of insurance within 30 days, your license will then be suspended. That's what happened to my girlfriend, she got the letter....and then got insurance RIGHT AWAY.

Thats a shame man. I just sold my 90 cherokee, that was in almost perfect shape. perfect paint, and tinted windows and ran great. Sold it for 3k. I never thought i'd miss it, but i really do, but i had to sell it to get my stang.

I say fix it the best you can. These things are super easy to work on.. and parts are cheap.. you can fix it fairly cheap and keep it.

Take care of those two assholes tho.

Good Call man. The 4.0's kick ass. Probably one of the best jeep engines by far out there. you could probably get one cheap and have a nice truck.
