It sounds like you need Air Products to take over your operation. lol

According to all the engineers I speak to at both our company and the customers we deal with, development of this program is coming along nicely, and again, our company, who pioneered the transportation, storage, and delivery of liquid hydrogen, who has been providing Hydrogen for NASA for over 30 years. We have supplied every drop of Hydrogen to NASA, over 200 million pounds. A lot when you consider it weighs .59 lbs. per gallon.

Good read: Fuel Cell Test Program

An excerpt:

"Lessons Learned to Date.

The goals set by each of the three partners have been exceeded. This section summarizes the key learnings identified by each partner, and how the collective experience has helped advance fuel cell and hydrogen technologies in the U.S. and the world."

I just what our test have shown and that hydrogen research in domestic vehicles if far from release to the general public, and electricity is going to probably take over hydrogen .

REMEMBER!

The first gas increase in price of gas was made in the afternoon of 9/11/01, not by the middle east, Canada, stock brokers, but by the guy smiling at you from behind the counter of the gas station. After that, the whole world(including American refineries) followed suit.

But yeah. The main problem is not all the bullshit they spew to us in the media about war, or unrest, or because the wind blew the wrong way at the wrong time in some bumfuck country we've never even heard of, it's because we need more refineries. Why don't we have more refineries? You can thank Clinton for that. The actual former president, not the lunatic running presently. lol

What's that you ask? How is Captain Oval Blow Job Pants responsible for this? Ha! Well, I'm old, so I can't remember.

*runs to google*

(hold please)

its not just clintons fault about the refineries. there hasnt been one built in the us in about 30 years. our whole infrastucture of manufacturing is getting so out of date that almost any advanced country is so far ahead of our methods, its cheaper to buy than make. because our facilitys have not been maintaned and or renewed. our methods are old.

almost all the steel i see on my job is canadian or japanese. thats what the us used to do is make steel. now we dont even have a chance in keeping up in quality of these outside manufactuers, unless the facilities we have are totally rehabbed or new ones built.

yea almost all the energy i know of from canada is raw. and needs to be refined. im on a 42" and 20" pipeline project now from north canada to chicago. its heavy crude too. the harder one to refine.

Didn't Clinton veto a bill regarding increasing refinery capacity? And wasn't there another one around the mid 90's he vetoed regarding increasing exploration in Alaska?

As for the steel plants, yeah it's sad. I can't profess to know what all the problems are, but I can tell you this. In the 18 years I have been driving truck for a living, I have delivered to and picked up at many many steel mills & factories all over the country. And almost without fail when I walk in to these places I would find like 8 guys sleeping in a coffee room or cafeteria. No different here in Canada. Taking hours on end to have 3 coils dropped on my deck or picked up off it. Not 3 hours to get inside in to a dock, but 3 hours AFTER I hit the dock. While trucks are lined up outside in a parking lot. I'm sure this fact plays a part in what is going on.

yea im sure clinton played his hand but bush has had 8 years to get it done and didnt. not counting the other 22 years of diff presidents that are swayed against this.

one major thing in new refineries is, noone wants a refinery in their town. every time one is proposed enviromentalists bitch and cry and people lay down. they need a trucker to grab a gear mow em over carrying in the equipment to start dirt work. its really alot bigger than a pres's personal interests or vendettas.

same with nukes. we need nukes here but people are scared of what the dont know about and look at chernobel as an example.

the gov needs to lay down the law when it comes to the energy crisis we're in.

btw the company building this pipeline is enbridge. a canadian company. the biggest energy company in north america. (or so they say)

there's no doubt in my mind that workers are wasting a LOT of money for a LOT of businesses.. i think the american way is to just be lazy all the time and not care.. if you can get away with it.. then why not? why work when you can sleep?

its funny.. i used to do landscaping.. everytime the boss would go off to get supplies or go behind a building, you'd see like 4 ppl immediately stop and start talking

only the older, experienced ppl continued to do their jobs..and even then there were a few that did little to nothing even when the boss was standing there

a waste of $500 a week IMO

??? A loose acquaintance of mine claims they are contracted by big oil and can't charge more than a set percentage over what each station owner pays. So if that's true, the price hikes have to come from up high.

i didnt know you were mexican

work ethic is a thing of the past, especially in this age group that im in and younger. i cant understand it. my job is very easy and people cry that its too much work. wherever you go though there will be the crybabies. i just ignore them or work around them and get it done. it usually speeds them up or they get fired.

just like when i went to pick up my truck. they have 2 guys that were dicking around and i loaded my own truck cause i got sick of watching their slow asses. the boss was so sick of them, but its hard to get people in their for what they wanna pay. thats another aspect that people got wrong. your not getting screwed by the employer paying you that low wage. theres too many other jobs that you dont have to take it. your just screwing yourself.

Very true. I didn't mean to insinuate that Clinton is solely to blame, I was just saying that he had a large part in what is going on today.

And +1000 on the environmentalists. Don't get me wrong, I am all for reducing emissions and caring about our planet. But some of these people are sociopaths who would have us live in caves instead of bettering the planet for the most important species on it- the humans.

It's a sad state of affairs, OSM. I'm not sure what the answer is, but it's sort of a catch-22 thing. Generations ago people had to work hard just to live a basic life, and as such learned work ethic, and in the process created an easier life for the following generations. But the catch is as we make life easier, people sometimes don't discover what a work ethic is and why it's important. Hence my anti-socialism rants in debates of yore. lmao

I hear ya. Politics is really a sad state of affairs, both in your country and mine. At least you guys can say you have had some important presidents who were great men and did great things. Think about it. How different things could have been if not for one man who chose to be an elected official instead of a king.

Up here in Canada, we have had prime ministers who...uhh...*thinks*.... . built a railroad. Whoopee.

Not much to know about our politics. This statement usually angers my fellow Canadians, but it's the truth:

America is free by design, Canada is free by accident. You guys fought for your independence, won it, and designed a democratic system of electing a leader, and wrote a Constitution for your people.

We, on the other hand, never sought out independence from the British, and still to this day use their political system. You wouldn't know much about our past Prime Ministers because there has never been one that did something great like a Washington or a Roosevelt or a Jefferson or a Lincoln.

And yeah, beware: we're planning to send over our plane and our boat any day now.
