Gas Tank Filler Gasket

Well i made a big mess today at the gas station. so i let it leak way down, and then epoxyed it. Got it home and had to put a new rubber seal on the tank where the filler tube goes in. It was easy to do, but its not fun being by my self in 5º weather, with 13 or so gallons in the tank. I couldnt get it aligned for nothing. If the tank were empty, i could have done it in about 30 minutes

I also go my car dumped today. They drone now. But it sounds much heathler. I have a few videos im up lodading now.

how do you 'dump' the exhaust? cut the tips off and right right form the muffler?

cut the cat back off, and just put turn downs on the pipe coming out of the muffler

so basically your running straight off the mid pipe? like the mufflers are immediantly after the mid pipe and the exhaust ends there?

yep. its loud wiht O/R H pipe hehe

and Hooker Longtubes and X pipe will be nasty sounding.

You'll enjoy that sound. I run no cats period.. can bearly stand the drone on the Highway, but after this winter, 3.73's going in and no more highway life!

Probably have seen it before, but who knows... this is with 40 series flows, BBK shorties, no cats and offroad X pipe

i really wish my car didn't drone. its annoying as fuck. i even have the stock h-pipe and it still drones..

That's where most drone's occur. This is why I went with a milder MBRP setup; I couldn't handle a drone for 500 miles a week.

The drone is a trade-off you have to live with if you want a loud exhaust system on a DD car.

Hey Zip your sound clip is sweet but that flapper sound after you let off the gas says you got some rich maybe unburnt fuel, like the brain box is retarding the spark to fast. A cure well hell that will take me a while to think about. JMHO

Sweet. That was when I had just installed a 91 torque tune, which I have since had replaced. I am also now running a 93 octane race tune, so it will be interesting to see if that sound shows up in another vid this spring. Funny how you hear different shit in a vid clip that you don't hear as easily from in the car. Maybe I should turn the stereo down once in a while. lol
