My best to your wife and her recovery. As far as 3:10 to Yuma...wow, this movie was excellent. I know I must have seen the original with Glenn Ford, but I sure can't remember. I'm a western fan, though, needless to say. I heard that when Russell Crowe took lessons with the top "fast draw" in the business, who's name escapes me right now, that he was fantastic. This guy said that Crowe was a natural. It's a great movie and I wish we'd get back to more westerns.

![]() Yeah, it's been a long time since I've seen a western this good. It's kind of sad that it seems to be a dying genre. This one actually reminded me a little of some of Eastwood's western's, in terms of how well it was done. I can't recall if I've ever seen the original 1957 version either. I'll have to throw the dvd in and look through the special features to see if I can't find out who Crowe trained with. It's not surprising he was a natural, after all he's an amazing actor, and we all know how fast he is with a phone. lol |
