what to do with $1500

a while back i put some money into a CD at the bank and next month it will mature, and i'll have right around $1500.. what is a good way to invest it?don't recommend car parts, because that's out of the question.. i'm just looking for a good way to invest my money.. the CD didn't hardly pay anything, especially considering i couldn't even touch it for a year..

i remember a while back somebody said something about a step CD.. how does that work?

Stock market ... you can make fast money & you can loose your butt. Best advice I can give you is go talk to a finacial group (Fidelity/Edward Jones ect.) and they can give you lots of options.

i don't know much about the stock market, but i know it's pretty risky.. is $1500 even enough money to get involved in the stock market?

btw, i'll be 17 in march, but i figured for all the things that required me to be 18, i'd just give my parents my money, they'd invest it for me, and they'd pay me back

start i nice retirement fund....never to early to start

i have 200.00 a month going into a roth ira, thats through edward jones, u pay a small fee but they put ur money in the best place to make u money for the future

i also have 401k with work and it plays the stock market on day i was down acouple hundred bucks i look the next day its down another 100 but it will also raise back up

what does ur parents say???

I put a grand on stocks, and earned 600... you gotta know what to buy... I just got lucky and bought srock just when Mac was switching to intel and getting ready to release the iPhone... stocks rocketed from 80 bucks to 140.

just look on the net for the best deal on a 6-12 cd...1500 isn't much to work with in stocks but, don't let that stop you in doing something with it.
