Cloverfield the movie SPOILER....Ironman preview.

First off....the Ironman movie looks GOOOOOOOOOD. Damn good.

Cloverfield :

Its basically a mindless fun/scary movie with good special effects. Its pretty short and you HAVE TO pay attention to the final scene of the movie to see the creature dropping outta the sky into the water. Essentially its Godzilla post 9/11 but with a few more twists.

I have mixed feelings about the ending but I understand if they didnt want to show a scene of NYC being blown to shit. They already evoked enough 9/11 flashbacks in the movie...so it was plenty.

All in all it was a good flick. I had some free passes and free food coupons so it was definitely worth it to me.

Bottom line : There really is no plot...but if you want a really good special effects flick with shoot-em up action and a monster versus military showdown , then you will enjoy this movie.

when they figured it out they didn't just run like hell like you'd expect if they thought monsters would pop out and run all over.

If you ask me they only added that effect to give the movie a little more of a "whoa" factor. The "bite" didnt seem to play a significant role in the movie.

The movie really had no known plot.

yeah i know that just wasn't well explained as wasn't a lot of other things in the movie, just got me thinking, and never wanting to get bit by a spider of crab (if they can bite) ever again

Yeah I think it was just a mindless shoot up bash smash and get the cash movie. Just good fun

Not a bad movie. Very interesting concept. They made it a real feeling scenerio, as if you were in the action. I wish they would've left the whole boring first sequence out. Me and my friends were dissapointed in that part. The action sequences kicked ass though. I'd buy it on DVD and fast forward to the part on the roof where it all starts.

definately a weird ass movie..i finally went and saw...it was kinda cool how they did the filming but at the same time it was like wtf...that monster was mad crazy lookin tho and i didnt get the fact why that chick blew up either....actually made me jump when they got in the chopper and the monster jumped up at it....that was pretty gnar..
