Another Srt-8 thread.

So today i find out this one kid at school is getting an SRT-8. From what i understand this isn't a rumor. But i'll believe it when i see it in the parking lot. This kid had a Camaro before then and then he had a jeep after. But anyway I know these cars are fast. But they are really heavy.

How does my GT stack up against the srt-8. Im not really interested in racing him but i would like to know how to defend my mustang when people start coming up to me telling me ill get smoked.lol. But will i really get smoked. I plan on installing an aluminum Driveshaft soon too soo ill free up some HP. My other mods are in my sig. So do you guys think my car would completely get its doors blown off or would it be someone close of a race or something?

thanks.

You'll most likely loose in a race. So here's what you say when confronted. He paid how much for that car? and it has how much hp? I only paid xxx dollars for mine, and it's xxx years old. Then tell them no shit it's faster and act like it's no big deal and old news. That should make it seem like less of a deal and it will die down quickly after.

and an aluminum drive shaft will not give you any more hope of beating that car...

Bone stock SRT8 Chargers do not run 12's. They run low 13's on a good day with a good driver.

Haha. "No shit its faster." Thats made me laugh.

Good advise

yeah but from what people have told me on this site those shafts are good for freeing up minimum of 10HP. and i was just pointing out when i add this mod ill be 10HP more powerful then before haha. but yeah its fine, im not planning on racing him anyway. i was just curious to see what kind of race it would be.

Sure it will give you more power at the wheels, I wasn't trying to say it wouldn't...
