jeeps are ok for highway driving.

pretty sure I don't have anything backwards ;o)

I dunno whenever we go offroading.. usually its the chevys and jeeps to break..

just speaking from my own experience though.

the new jeeps are more offroad capable than the YJ and TJ from the factory. i would use this as a sporty, fun SUV with some towing capacity when needed and the joy of no top and no doors between march and november. plus, i can go fun places that a 2" dropped mustang cant go... but mostly for driving back and forth to college and just fun to drive factor as well in the summer

they cant, but i would only pull like a jet ski or a small trailer with a dirt bike or something... it could easily handle that

that would be awesome man, my friend just got his 08 Rubicon unlimited. i really hate the unlimiteds but this thing is nice. i'd much rather have the standard size rubicon.. they're nice though, ive driven his and it rides smoother and its easier to drive than my mustang.

Test drove one like you have pictured.

Off-road I have heard they are great and the electronic disconnect sway bar is awesome! Driving on the road the ride is not that great and they lack alot of power. Can always be fixed with some steeper gearing and some minor bolt ons.

Mods are cheap for them as well.

For that price, I would say go for it!

yeah, i really like these a lot. i would need to sell my car and work out some financing to pay the difference. i would be looking at getting maybe 6k for my car and then pay 14k on the wrangler... not too bad for a brand new, fun-to-drive car!

Buddy of mine got a new Rubicon a while back. I love that thing. It is very capable On and Off road.

We pulled a 12ft trailer with 3 700cc 4wheelers with it. That was actually a little much though. The jeep didn't like it much at all. I think it would be fine with a smaller trailer and only 2.

I'll try to dig up some pics when I get home

I really like them. my dad brings them home all the time. The stick isnt that bad either. its not fast thats for sure but i mean its a fun car though. in the summer you can just take the top of its really nice. i really enjoy when he brings them home. But if you get the X please Get the Big wheels. It looks sooooo dumb with the little 16ich it comes with i think it is. it might even be smaller then that. get the 17's or 18's and you'll be good. teh sound system is really nice too. its really loud. the woofer is really nice too or Decent. the woofer is nicer with a CD though rather then on the radio. if you have anymore questions about it let me know. in all i think they are sick vehicles. Jeeps always come thru. we've had jeeps all my life pretty mcuh. we have an 08 Cherokee right now. oh yeah and the gas mileage on the wrangular kinda sucks. No joke.

yeah, they are sweet rides. oh, and the gas sucks about as bad as my 4.10:1 ring and pinion mustang on the highway for 2 hours on the way home every weekend! about 300 days a year i wish i had a convertible or a more outdoorsy car. so if i can work some finances, i would love the wrangler! plus, they hold their value very well.

ahah yeah they do. Wranglers never loose their value. haha. i mean one with 100,000 miles are still are pretty expensive.

But i really dont think you will be disappointed. Specially if you want an outdoor car. I love when the top is down. i feel so cool. haha. They are petty good off road too.

Good luck with it all.

i hope i can afford it. college is killer, but i may be able to finance it. who knows, student loans to buy the car. then i have interest free for 3 more years then i can get a real job and pay it off. or i can make payments now. i am bringing in about 1k a month from my job, so i might be able to do some wheelin' n dealin'!
