pics of the used motor im ripping apart.... going to make it pretty much stock... cams is about the only thing i want..... although as i get further in to i am thinking of forging it?? i dont know.... if this is in the wrong section sorry

im confused.......r u tearing this motor apart to get performnce parts out of her, or are u bilding the motor as a spare and installing cams

dude i keep chaing my mind..... this motor is going to be a fresh rebuilt motor, the other motor i plan on building up, with all the bells and whistles, but i have got to move home first, i do want cams on this motor though... iv got to have that choppy sound

yea iv got three short blocks now... and all this started because i blew a spark plug hole..... now one blocks in my living room, and the other 2 are in the grage

yea.... i could have fixed it with helicoil... but i wanted to rebuild the motor anyways

the 4.6 has like 4-5 threads that hold the plug in the hole... being aluminum, if you tourqe it to much on a spark plug change, chang it while its hot, anything to streatch the threads, and the comp. of the stroke will flatin out the threads and destroy that hole, and the plug and COP in it.
