So ...these are kind of Truckers I have working for me.

I bought a 2007 Kenworth with the 6 speed automatic allison...sweet ass tranny!! Anyway, I told the operator to back his rig out into the yard and run it up on high idle and leave it there for the morrning...It was minus 47 here....anyway 2 hour later he comes running into my office saying that there is fluid pouring out from under the rig!! Im like WTF the truck only has 1000 km on it. So i shut it down Run a diagnostic with the dash computer...It says Transmissin overheated. I look over at the shift selector....ITS IN REVERSE!!!!. The guy backed it out left it in reverse ...hit the air brakes and idled it up and jumped out of it and walked away!!!! Im lucky the brakes held but as for the transmissin...its toast gonna run about 25 grand to put a new one in. Its cheaper Allison said to replace than repair.......Fuck me ....Kids these days.

Anyway im done ranting...my point is that you try to make things eaiser for these young drivers these days and they still find ways to break shit!

And this is just more proof why I dislike automatic transmissions in heavy trucks. It makes it too easy for any doorknob to try and drive one.

In my opinion, if you can't double clutch and bang through 15 gears while operating a 70 foot truck, you shouldn't be driving one.

basicly children....The turnover is so high that its like a crap shoot whenever you hire someone out here...
