in every state, you can legaly own a handgun at 18, but cannot buy one till your 21. with a rifle you can even buy one at 18

Carrying a gun is not smart. I worked in the gun industry long enough to know that you really won't use it if it comes down to it but you could get shot by having it.

Please be safe and responsible with your fire arm. It's only a weapon in the wrong hands or mindset.

By carrying a firearm in your vehicle, you run the risk of it getting stolen and used in a crime where you WILL be charged for some part of the crime.

I only say the above out of information I've acquired over the years and respect for my fellow Mustanger's.

Don't get me wrong as I'm not anti-gun. I've owned a wheel gun for over 10 years.

I used to sell Springfield Armory pistols and rifles for a living. Every few weekends we'd go to the range with the latest in completed guns and test them. The company is located in Illinois and has some of the best competition shooters in the world...namely Rob Latham if anyone is into shooting sports. They make the best .45 cal semi auto and .308 cal M1A rifle you can purchase. They also own and operate Les Baur custom guns. Now, there are some sweet pistols that come from that manufacturer. Plus he's into drag racing. Two very cool sports.

I used to go out to the shooting range with buddies when possible and plink at plates and other non-living targets. I have a blast and even taught my oldest how to shoot it. Plinking is fun and helps get you familiar with your firearm. Especially when you have to go home and clean it afterwards.

The first thing I did the day I turned 21 was go buy me a pistol. It is too crazy out there, people are dangerous. If it was me or them or my family/friends or them it wouldnt be a hard decision.

your right about some of the best rifles but not the best 1911s. they make a good gun though. les bear is a thief. if you ever shake his hand, you better check to make sure you still have all of your fingers. the quality control on his guns are crap. he sells them as custom guns but they are full of cheap and generic parts. bish, i didnt mean to piss ya off i did, i was just joking around, i am very into shooting sports and compete in several different venues. oh and i bought a new pistola today!!!!
