Atlantic Blue

What's the general opinion about atlantic blue new edges?

I'm strongly considering getting this car (cars.com: 2000 Ford Mustang) and I personally really like the color..but it seems kind of rare.

What kind of visual mods would go with that color? I love the rocker stripe, and I plan on doing bumper inserts right away.

Just looking for opinions!

A v8?

Im kidding, haha. Not a huge fan of the color myself, but its your car, and if you like it, go for it. Chrome wheels and lowering it, but besides that, nothing would really fit to me...

p.s. that is *bright* atlantic blue. i have atlantic blue metallic clear...

and i like them with a black and blue theme or a black and chrome theme. i did black and blue:

mach 1 grill delete
mach 1 chin spoiler
eibach sportlines
black afs bullit wheels
short antenna
window tint
removed rocker stripes
black bumper inserts

and then chromes accents or polished accents such as the lip on the wheels and the 14" magnaflow exhaust tips, cai, etc, ss interior knobs, black interior trim, white face gauges, roush racing floor mats, etc.

Wow very cool info lol. Yeah I know the miles are very low, and look at the pic of the engine bay...it's spotless. The dealer said they got the car like that, so hopefully someone took good care. I plan on having a mechanic look at it soon, and I'll take it from there.

As for colors, AB you said you have a darker blue and went with black..which I think is funny because I have the lighter blue and plan on accenting white. I'm thinking blue/white/silver so far.

Also I know this is not really the right thread, but you say you tinted your windows, did a shop do the work for you? I want to do it myself but I've heard bad things about diy tint, and the defroster is weird or something. Just wondering.

Isn't the color of the car in the pics called electric blue?

Im kidding. I love the out there colors, he just left himself wide open for that, haha.

Its definitly an out there color, but it could definitly look great. I would say go with a black theme, not white.

Not thread jacking, but I figure what better time to ask. I have been trying so hard to figure out the name of this color.

Is it a factory color or custom? This is the only one I have seen and its for sale. Just asking.

I have no idea, isn't mystichrome kind of like that?

I was thinking white because of the rocker stripes that are already there. And I've come to the conclusion that it's bright atlantic blue.

Edit: After some research, I think it's mystichrome that just looks very blue in that light.

I just think, personal opinion, the dark would give a more aggresive, meaner effect.

So what turns black? Bumper inserts...rims? I rarely like black rims, even with a polished lip. Tint I guess...I really don't want to change out the rocker stripes.
