Buying guns

When I buy a pistol it has to be registered right? So long as it's coming from a reputable dealer/store? I want to own at least a couple pistols/shotguns that the gubment doesn't know about, just incase things get bad on the gun control front....

While were at it, how about some recommendations on pistols. I really like the look of Kimber guns, but know nothing about them. They demand a price that says quality, but are they really that nice?

Every gun must be registered unless you want to get an onld antique flintlock They are actually fun to shoot.

For a pistol, how much do you want to spend?

If you want a really reliable, shoot everytime, get a glock or H&K.

If you want great looks, great accuracy, and pretty good reliablity, get Kimber .45 like you mentioned

I think if you are 21 or older you can have a pistol without a permit.(at least in my state anyways)

what state are you in? different laws for different states. in VA you can purchase a handgun from a non licensed sell at 18, and pocess at 18, even open carry. you will get fucked with for it though i can tell you that much.

VA also doesnt have firearm registration.

and BTW springfield XD-9 FTMFW HK's are damn nice too, i have a coupel of each.

Well I know I don't need a permit here in TX, unless I want to carry a concealed weapon. But when I buy one they are going to do a background check, and then the FBI will know that I bought a gun, and will know all the info on that gun. I want one that they don't know about just incase some really strict gun laws get passed...

I'm just starting to look into weapons. I used to own a Ruger 9mm... but that was probably 6-7 years ago. It wasn't very acurate at all either. I want something that's fun to shoot, and can be shot a lot...

in texas there is no registration, you fill out for 1073, they do a state police background check to find out if you are eligable, and thats it. nobody will know what gun you bought.

theres nothing wrong with a 9MM, one fo the greatest handgun calibers there are, anything more is just a penis extender.

I've looked around for a while... I have an extreme facination with the Magnum Research .50cal... They aren't just massive guns that can do masive dammage, but if you run out of bullets you can throw it at some one and knock them out, along with their closest living relative!

I really love my dads glock .40

Glock 9mm's are very reliable also.

any glock is a great gun.

My dad also has a Para-Ordnance P14 .45. That is a sick gun

they are peices of crap. jam-o-matics. plus expensive as fuck to shoot. i hate those guns. 99.9% of the time that somebody has a DE they either have about a 1-2" long penis, or they're so fugly they cant get any ass to have to try to get attention by having a big gun. sort of their own way of being EMO if you will, crying out to the world.

typically the small penis crowd's "truck" of choice would be a H1, or H2, and car of choice would be viper, or vette.

Kimber's are very nice I own 2 in 45 cal. Sig P226 in 40 cal is very nice. Neither are cheap. If you buy from a person like from a add in the paper, there is no paper work. Just take it to a police station to make sure it's not sotolen or has been used in a crime. If it has you lose it.

a buddy of mine was looking into getting a .50AE Desert Eagle. he test fired one to see if he liked it. he squeezed off 1 round, dropped the mag, ejected the round in the chamber, put it down and walked away. he never spoke of buying one again. he said the recoil he felt through his arms and into his chest was ridiculous. it felt like getting hit in the chest with a sledgehammer. he ended up getting a .357 S&W, then later, a .40 Beretta 9000...
Glocks are nice, reliable pistols. i've owned 2 and put several thousand rounds through both and never had a single jam. they're pistols you can beat the crap out of and abuse, but when you need them, they won't let you down. i currently own a Kimber Pro Carry II chambered in .45, of course. i love 1911 style pistols. the Kimber also has never jammed on me. they're pricey, but worth it IMO...
