some guy at work (along with other workers ) is stealing like $5000 a week of insulation and wanted to pay me like $200 per "reroute" to drop the crap off at a local house and not say anything..

that's like an extra $1500.00 a month for me..

but being me I told him to do what he has to do but don't do it on my route.

I basically told the guy.. I won't say anything and I don't want any involvement. I would rather have a secure job than chance getting fired even if the money is damn good.
I know I did the right thing..
I'm just venting

Two guys a worked with at a bar awhile ago had a system of taking cash...it was dumb and they got.....FIRED!

yea I know man.

I make pretty good money as it is.

$18.75 an hour and time and a half for over time ( $28 an hour or so?)

and I work at lead 15 hours OT a week.
I am not chancing my job over petty cash.
I'm also not going to say anything because I gave him my word.

I never knew about it will be my catch phrase if anything happens.

it's not easy but it's worth it.

who do you think unloads the trucks after I drive to the job?

each bundle of insulation weighs 150-180 pounds or so.
4-5 bags per bundle depending on what type.

example.

went to Newark yesterday (me and one guy)
we had to deliver 200 bags.
20 bundles.

they wanted 10 bundles on each floor (besides the first) so 5th to 2nd.

try carrying a bundle up 5 flights

let alone ten bundles.

fork lift ftw.

we lost a truck tire in the warehouse (idiot didn't back up properly into the bay) so he seperated the bead and we didn't have a jack.

I lifted that 10k truck like 2 feet into the air with the forklift. lol

We had a guy like that at our buisness. He was stealing warehousing pallets and selling em without us knowing for years and years. Anyways it caught up to him and of course the company sued. Result-

atleast 10 years in jail, all money taken from him, his family now has nothing and is separated, he will never be able to get a job anywhere once he gets out, and on and on....

Me personally, I would have to taddle tale because usually when someone does eventaully get caught, that person will bring everyone else down with him that knew about it to make himself not look so bad.

i'm starting at 10 for my new job at bmw. not too bad, not great. i know i'll get a raise fast though because i'm a good worker. my friend got his job working as a long shoreman making 20.63 starting right out of highschool. he's making over 25 now. what an asshole
