Pixel Art

Just to prove to some of you what can be done in MS Paint.

(15 colors)

(8 colors)

(4 colors)

(32 colors)

(68 colors)

(75 colors)

(20 colors)

(26 colors)

(16 colors)

(16 colors)

I used to be big into pixel art several years back and found a site I used to be a member of and thought I would show ya'll some of the stuff that can be done by hand with a limited number of colors and in a program as simple as MS Paint. Of course theres some pure skill involved too! haha.

Enjoy!

It's just the colors themselves. The blending and such is called dithering. It is used to make a small color count appear to have many more colors. Pixel art is all about using as few colors as possible to make the image you are making.

Definitly didnt mean to post it twice. I was going through the site finding pictures, and it logged me out of MM so when I logged in, it posted it twice, haha. Just let the other die.

I wish. I was 13 or so when I got into it and never got very good. I had some interesting pieces, but none that were nearly as good as this. These are guys that do it for a living for gameboy and other things along that line. There are some phenominal artists out there.

Obviously its the tint. Thats why I admire his work. The detail is so finet, but at the same time, it's obvious what it is!
