Question about payment/checks/money orders, things like that.

Ok, I am selling a guitar and an amp in my local reigon, and I found a guy who wants to buy both, but I don't understand exactly what he wants to do and how it works. Heres all of the emails between us.

(First-him)
Hey, just surf through the ads you have on here on craigslist and it's
actually what i wanna buy, i will like to purchase these item from you,
hope it's still available for sale... i am always online so you can
email me back.

Hey, thanks for the responces. I do still have both items for sale. Are you interested in both?

Thanks for the prompt response, i'll like to make an instant purchase right away, i will send a Check via my bank to cover the cost as am satisfied with the item. I will need the details of whom & where to mail the draft. It will be delivered by the United Parcel Service within 2 days. Please note 'ups' do not deliver to P.O.Box addresses.The require detail needed are : Name to be on check, Address to deliver the draft and your phone number should in case i might have someone call you on my behave because i am deaf. Kindly delete the posting as am totally committed to buying from you to save me cost.

I was wondering where you are located, this way we can exchange item and payment and save on delievery charges. I am not entirely sure how the whole bank thing works to be honest with you, as I am only 17 years old. If you would like to meet in person, taht would be easier for me, or I could give you the address and name and things like that and once the check goes through, depending on where you are, I could bring the items to you myself.

That's whats been said before. He sounds serious, but I really can't tell. One thing that gets me...he's buying a guitar and an amp, and he's deaf...?

dude sounds like I scam I had someone almost do the exact same thing with my hood on craigslist

But if you where gonna buy something wouldnt you like to see it first before straight out buying it but if you want to man just tell him cash only and if he makes an excuse then be like sorry man this doesnt feel right if you cant get cash

P.S. i went to school with a guy that played guitar and he was deaf a really good player to

I know 2 deaf guys and a blind guy that plays they go off vibration they are really good though,
but sounds like he wants to do a certified check from a bank so he will be able to cancel it if hes not happy, or so he can make it uncashable till he is happy, personally I dont deal with stuff like that outside of paypal

if the deal makes you uneasy..tell him paypal and make sure you use UPS or fedex to get a delivery receipt
