BWAL needs help with computer problem

Alright I was playing him on Xbox tonight and his computer is broke it wont turn on.

He said he turned it off one night and now it wont turn on. Does anyone know how to fix it or what to do.

the internal power supply on my wife's desktop went bad. we replaced it and it worked fine

Thats what I was thinking. the internal power supply. I thought it was called a c-moss battery or something like that. That sux.

Its prolly his power supply...

Have him check all his connections to the back of the PC...

Then try it again...

But it really sounds like a bad power supply...

i had overloaded my power supply once and blew it lol
i was running a 450w at over 500w

it lasted awhile though

bingo, or he has leaking capacitors on his main board. 2 leading causes of no power on.

My bet is that he was looking at a picture of Zip and got too excited, blew his load and shorted out the comp.

He said that it will turn on and go to the screen where it says windows is loading, then it will just shut off. He also says that he leaves it running all of the time.

Sounds like a corrupt F/S, Bad HDD, or bad memory. but lastly it could be bad Capacitors. what brand of pc is this?
