Walk for Autism

Its that time again- Time to get together and walk for a great cause!!! April 12th 2008, what are you all doing?? If your in Atlanta, GA.. please think about it hard.

Walk Now for Autism, the nation's largest grassroots autism walk program, is Autism Speaks' signature fundraising and awareness event, taking place in communities across the United States, as well as in Canada and the United Kingdom. Powered by volunteers and families with loved ones on the autism spectrum, this successful grassroots fundraising effort not only generates vital funds for autism research but also raises awareness about the increasing prevalence of autism and the need for increased research funding to combat this complex disorder.

If you cant come out and walk, why not donate? Help out all autistic kids everywhere and donate 1 dollar.. 5, 10, etc... Every penny helps. We need to come together to help find the cure and support autistic children.

As many of you know, Our (mdvaldosta and myself) son is autistic. We have struggled for years with this disorder. We need to have more programs out there for autistic kids! Right now, its very hard here in warner robins, because there isn't much out here! We need to raise awareness. I want Austin to one day be normal!!! I want more people to KNOW what autism is, so they quit looking at him like he is stupid!! My son is VERY smart.. you just got to get to know him first to see it.

lol! Glad someone remembers me.

and thanks for sticking it. Joe is out of town this weekend, so he wouldnt of saw it until this morning. Also, a good read on Autism Charities.

Ive been great!!

Bought my own house and car.. wonderful job, ect.

Awesome! If my taxes ever show up Ill donate too...I taught privately for 10 years with autistic children...the most trying and rewarding job I have ever had...I watched several of them from about 3-10 yrs old grow and learn it was absolutely amazing and I still keep in touch with the parents...My blessings go out to every family!
