how in the hell do u take the fuel filter off of a 2000 gt

JOEJOE-
Its not real hard but you gotta be careful. WEAR GOGGLES! You will spill fuel and your right under where it comes out.

First, remove the trunk lining on the opposit side of the fuel door. There will be a fuel shut off button there. Its for when you get into an accident... it automatically shuts the fuel off. Anyway, tap the button with the end of a crewdriver and it will pop up. This cuts the fuel off. Now you can get underneath with the removal tool and a little bucket. Pop the lines off the filter and put the little bucket under the to drain the little bit of gas left in the line. Reinstall the filter. Reset the fuel cutoff button in the trunk and put the paneling back.

Filter is probably like 5 to 10 bucks
The tool is like 5 bucks too

You just saved big $$ doing it yourself.

i used a pair of like p pliers. it worked. but im a v6 so i duno the diff.
