Went To The Track Last Night

well i finallymade it to the track. i made 4 passes because they were down for about an hour due to a truck blowing up. anyways my car ran great, it was kind of scary launching with my bent axle and screwed up rearend. for all the people who will wonder what i did to go so fast on street tires, heres what i did!

i barely burned the tires, i pulled the rear tires into the water boix revved to about 4 grand and held it there untill it fiunallycaught traction, i pulled into the staginf lights and brought the revs to 2000 rpms.when the light hit,i pedeled it untill about 3000 rpmsand then nailed it.the rest my crazy ass shifting ability. theres still a lot left in the car even n/a. i think it will go low 12s once i can get somestickies on it and all this on motor only. i think if i would have have had one more pass, i think i would have gotten it into the 12s. anyways the car spun its ass off in 2,3,and 4th gears and had to pedal it pretty good. anyways heres my times from slowest to fastest.

R/T --- .087 --- .546 --- .579 --- .360
60' --- 2.297 --- 2.239 --- 2.393 --- 2.154
330 --- 6.031 --- 5.941 --- 6.007 --- 5.750
1/8 --- 9.048 --- 8.938 --- 8.940 --- 8.683
MPH --- 81.71 --- 83.00 --- 84.96 --- 84.88
1000 --- 11.58 --- 11.478 --- 11.429 --- 11.175
1/4 --- 13.704 --- 13.612 --- 13.520 --- 13.269
MPH --- 106.82 --- 106.26 --- 108.38 --- 108.27

anyways had a ball.went out with rob(orangeRcode) he ran a new best time, nut illlet him say what it was if he wants. i cant wait till i can oput some slicks on and use my 2-step!!!!!

no. my l;aptop is screwed up so imusing the woirk laptop and the space bar sticks and then its really hard to oush down, hence some of the words have no spaces in them. itll go 12 easily when i get some tires on it and can actually launch. i spun in2nd,3rd,and 4th and had to pedal it.i think i can get a high 12 on these tires with some more track time with them. that was my first time out in a long time

well its got a drag suspension, but i couldnt really take advantage of it last ngiht. its got a stroker with heads and cams. its really low compression, and built for lots of boost. itll go a lot faster once i can launch it hard. i cant wait. but i couldnt belive how well those eagle f1. i just went and oput in all of the runs on the timeslip thing in my garage that5 you can go look at if ya want. its still a long ways form where it was at, but after the boost comes, itll be an extreme badass. 700+ rwhp

Dude once you find the poweradder you want and get it on running right...Your car is going to be one quick little b*tch...

Also once you get the rear-end lined out you will be alot faster as well...That way you can launch it the way you should...

That 60' is suffering in the first two runs. Hook up on the line and keep it smooth and you should go n/a 12 no problem

well, ive got a bent axle, my ring and pinion aremissing a lopt fo their teeth and this was oncrappy street radials, the 60' i thought was fairly respectable for onlyluanching aat 2000 rpm and haveing to modulate the clkutch and gas to keep form spinning. once the new rearend is in(should be next week) ill be able to use the 2-step at 6400 rpms. i have a feeling theirs gonna be some front tires comin off the ground pretty good.

Those are not bad 60' times IMHO...

Hell I think I put down a 2.6 60' when I last went to the track...

it was ugly...

I know I need the driver mod...

I had a great time last night. I am glad you got to come out and play Steven.

Who was calling BS on your setup? I will be happy to pwn their ass as I have seen it for myself. You pulled some great times on worn-out street tires and a tired rear. The times speak for themselves. Anyone with any dragging experience can see the 60' times and your overall time and speed and tell the situation. That car runs very strong and will be in the low 12s NA.

I also had my best times ever at the track:

R/T --- .552 --- .362 --- .190 --- .334
60' --- 1.934 --- 1.854 --- 1.890 --- 1.737
330 --- 5.558 --- 5.493 --- 5.466 --- 5.246
1/8 --- 8.497 --- 8.434 --- 8.376 --- 8.143
MPH --- 84.23 --- 84.39 --- 84.96 --- 85.28
1000 --- 11.023 --- 10.953 --- 10.874 --- 10.656
1/4 --- 13.145 --- 13.067 --- 12.976 --- 12.764
MPH --- 106.50 --- 106.95 --- 107.46 --- 107.24

steve- you could run a 1.9, 1.8 or better 60' easy n/a. i ran a 2.219 60' with my setup and trap at 14.7, 93-94. cant wait til you get the rear fixed and some sticky tires to run really strong! that car will be sick once it gets force-fed

with that high 60', and that low e/t, your car must pull once it hooks. i bet it is a lot of fun!

yeah it pulls very hard once it goes. there still severalmph in it also. i was pedaling it in 3rd and 4th. well i didnt want to take a chance on launching higher even though im sure i could have done better, but when youve got bent axle and you know its about to let go, youd be a little easy too. im happy with it.but it stuck fairly well right off the line but once it gotinto the power band it started spinning. theres def more in it even on these tires but i didnt want to risk breaking the shit and damaging the carrier and having to get a completely new carrier

Sorry I whored your thread with my times steve. I guess I will start my own thread and see if I can get any comments on it.

I watched you launch a few times and you were really taking it easy on the tires/rear. Once you get it fixed and decent tires, I am going to be trying to chase you down.
