It's a load leveler, allows you to tilt the motor while stuffing it it, or maybe he't using it to hold the intake together because of the insane power that big block is gonna make

It allows you to tilt the engine from frt to rear easily and it's the first time I've used one but it's the ticket for installing an engine.
