From what I found on google it is real...But that is all on forums and quite a few websites...This could be a fake...I will look into it further...

But I also think I would have seen something about it on CNN...

But at the hospital, Lane, still able to speak, refused a request from investigators to draw blood. Troopers then had to hold Lane down while a nurse took the blood sample, officials said. He went home the next day.

Kinda seems like they forced a blood sample out of him against his will. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they can't do that.

If it is true I do agree that they shouldn't go easy on him. Once I saw that hubless wheel bike of his I instantly fell in love with his bikes. He is my fav bike builder.

If it is true he should have to pay big time. A little over a year ago I got hit head on by a drunk driver and was in the hospiltal for 4 days, I got hurt real bad. All that happened to the guy is he spent the nite in jail and got a small fine. So I am against it. If you get caught you should pay.

yea they cant even take dna samples w/o permission, like cheek cells. i dun think they held him down and took blood

If you refuse to take a breathalizer then they will ask you if you want a blood test...If you refuse the blood test they can get a court order for it...Its really not that smart to try and resist that $hit...
