your supposed to go to your dealership. also do what i did register your car with ford @ the dealership and they mail you a letter when shit like this happens.

i dont know too much about the tuning aspect of cars, but this wouldnt scew up a custom tune would it?

No, the airbag opperate on a completely different computer system than the powertrain, but be sure to tell the dealer, do not mess with the PCM period.

They are reprogramming the airbag deployment speed because it might deploy with unnecesary force for petite unbuckled passengers when the seat in in the full forward position. .

There is a site you can type in your vin to see if your car is effected. and Mine it okay. No recall. Ford Recalls - Car Maintenance & Service Tips - Ford
