ok let me ask you a question....lets say you own a very successful and reputable business.....and a person comes to you wanting to apply...so you give him a app. he fills it out and gives it back to you....so your sorting through the apps and there are 2 very good qualified people they both have the same qualities it would be a coin toss between them....but the man that came in to see you about the app is a convicted fellon for stealing money...and the other applicant has a clean record....which person would you hire the person with a felony or the person without a felony???
and if you say the person without then your doing what im doing......just think about it

that logic is dumb, obama isnt a felon, he never did anything wrong, and he isnt muslim and he does recite the pledge of allegiance, (all media bullshit) and even if he did attend a mulsim school and lived in the middle east, that doesnt make him a terrorist, that doesnt make his intentions evil, and that doesnt make him any less of a person, thats all there is too it, you probably think all muslims are radical terrorists huh

not all muslims are at war with us, and technically we are not at war with muslims, we are at war with Al-Qaeda.

In case anyone has forgotten...there are troops of our own that are muslim...

Actually, I believe the Islamic nation has basically banished the sects of Islam that are considered the "radical extremists". I really get tired of hearing people say Muslims are evil and want to kill us, that's not true...

There are many sects to the muslim religion, not all of them want to harm us, and the ones that have, are banished and dishonored by Muslim faith. In fact there are some sects that have just as much hate towards these extremists as we do.

And as many people on here have said before, many of the rumors about Obama are not true. Personally, I'm not even for Obama, I have been undecided for a while, and while I am still making up my mind, I have been leaning towards Clinton, and that decision is based on facts about their issues, and not the rumors and other random bullshit the media throws out there

I'll say this again because its worth repeating. This comment is only valid if he in fact will NOT say the pledge.

Its not about what we believe. Its about the veterans of this country. The men and women who are now disabled or dead because they were willing volunteers to fight for all of us. It is about the way THEY view our flag. Ask any veteran and they will tell you the flag symbolises all that is good and honorable in the world. In their minds, they sacraficed for that flag. Its very important to them. And for that reason, you MUST respect the flag and all the traditions surrounding it. You do it out of respect for them and the blood they shed for it.

So if you dont want to say the pledge, you are disrespecting those men and women that gave us their lives in honor of it. Dont dis our flag. If that picture is true and that dude is standing there with his hands crossed over his dick, he has no right being our leader. Again, its not about me or what I think... its about the guys who make it possible for me to sleep soundly and safetly at night.

Its funny, I need to ask this....

How many threads have been made and debated about what a candidate HAS done? None that I know of. Its all about proving negativity. Hell, I really dont know what any of them have really done. Hillary forgave a cheating husband and Obama has big ears. Thats about the extent of my factual knowledge.

I want to see a list of accomplishments. What did they do to help ME in my personal life?

And honestly the fact that he is a CONVERTED Christian says more to me about his faith, as he choose that path. However, personally religion isn't a factor in who I choose as a presidential candidate.

I have always thought that too, it shows me he has a much closer relationship with God than some people, considering that following Christ was his decision, and not just something he was told to believe. It takes a lot of faith in something to go against what you were taught.

Now of course there are many Christians that were raised Christians, and still have a close relationship to God, I'm not saying he's better than them or anything (so please no flaming or arguing), I would be one of them, I was raised Christian and still am, but I think you all know what I mean by the type of people who say they believe in God, just because they were told to, and never really made a choice to follow Him or not.

thats really what i meant by one of my previous posts
most of my family has served both my grandads (rip) dad uncles (rip) you name a war and im sure someone in my family's been in it.
and saying the pledge and honoring the flags very important to me and my family because of that.
i may not serve in my life unless im called upon, but around me your gonna respect our country and flag.
say what you want about obama but in my eyes he's not fit to be president, sure he had a right not to pledge but to me if your gonna lead this country then you should have some sort of respect for it everytime not just some of it.
to me it has nothing really about him being muslim and all that because there is good muslim's i just cant seem to see myself really trusting him with all that power for some reason
