I didn't read the entire thread, so if this is covered, please excuse, but what is the deal with the "Reps" What do they do and how do they affect you?

It's a way of giving someone 'reputation' for being helpful on the forum. Another forum tool to help keep forum interest up and for people to have fun with. You can neg rep someone too if they're being a dick to you, and leave a smarmy comment. Mmmm- smarmy! lol

You rep by clicking on the scales under a users name.

lmao Nahh, red means negative rep. the blueish ones are just worth less than the green ones.

I believe that when someone with higher rep hands it out, it's worth more, and also rep in the tech sections is worth more.
