Xbox Live Connection

just got my new xbox and im waiting for my wireless adapter to get here... just wondering if n e of you know how to get on through your lap top through a wireless connection...the room that the box is in has no TV...

You need to have a wireless router and it will pick it up...

you will plug your xbox through the ethernet port on your pc. Then go to start, control panel, network connections. Then right click on the connection that you are getting your internet from, go to properties, and to advance. There should be a box that says "allow other network uses to recieve internet through this connection". Just check that and it should work. I did if with my comp till i got a wireless adapter. I was never able to get an open NAT through my computer

OK... i did that and now it says Network Adapter : Wired... but the IP address Failed... what to do now?

do you have vista if not i might can find you some programs to work
i found some for my friend but he has vista and they wouldn't work

i have xp and that is all i did i believe....you just tell it to share....oh i think i remember.

When you plug your xbox into your computer, the connection that comes up, tell it to share internet also. It should work then

the problem i had when i tried to hook up my friends was the MTU
it wouldn't give his xbox enough bandwith to let it work well with XBL
