seafoam question

so I have a buddy that just seafoamed his car...

he got it at autozone and the guy told him to put the entire bottle into the gas tank. Im pretty sure on the bottle it even says 1/3 pcv, 1/3 gas, 1/3 oil.

well he now needs a new fuel pump. do you think there may be any correlation between the 2?

ive heard an easy way to clean out your intake is by running fine sand through the engine

Yeah but the only problem is my seat belt tensioner doesnt work now.
