External hard drives


There's about a zilagigillian brands and sizes and prices.

I'm wanting one for music, pictures and movies.
Whats some good brands? And for said brands, a fair price?

The computer we have is a laptop. Sadly, its got VISTA. We maxT the memory on it and are still needing more. S L O W.......

Western Digital is good, I believe they have lifetime warranties.

I had a MyBook, WD's external, and it was great, (broke though because of my own fault), I'll be getting another one of the MyBooks soon.

Go for Western Digital. You can find a 500 gig for a lot cheaper than most other brands. Plus that lifetime warranty is a very nice thing.

Myself, I have a 120 gig Toshiba. It doesn't have the memory that others do, but its USB powered. And by that I mean awesome.
