for a deisel yes

you can use a block heater on a gas car.

ok it's an "oil pan" heater.. you knew what I meant.. lol

how cold is it there. Even when it iced 2 inches my car always started up....until now (computer probs)

were in NY do u live turbo cause it is cold as hell here in Rochester and had treble starting the car yesterday but it didn't help that the battery is in the trunk now.
