Tennessee, Here I Come! And My Promotion :)

This summer, I'm moving down to Tennessee, somewhere by Knoxville I think, but uhh.... YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A chance to get out of South Dakota is great! And on that note, I have just become part of the Management team at my place of work, Hardees! Lol, Whoo Whoooo!

Tenn is very nice. 4 seasons a year............

Just found out where we're moving to, to the Tri Cities in Tennessee and Virginia. Will probably go down before we move down there as vacation to see how it is. Anyone live by here?

My wife used to live in Bristol and I grew up on the tenn. /Kentucky border. I now live in Suffolk Virginia.

I got lost in bristol when I was driving home to Lousiville Kentucky...My navigator forgot to tell me to turn on 53A back onto 64...So I went 81 all the way down...lol

I was a truck driver training a guys that was a good driver. He was driving so I gave him the map and told him how to go and wrote it down for him. I went to the sleeper and I woke up and something didn't sound right, so I got up. I was 200miles out of route. He never told me he could not read a map. I feel your pain.

nothing wrong with that area. I grew up around Knoxville. Bristol dragway is the bomb for t&t, 6 hrs to richmond dragway, 3 hrs to rockingham dragway and a lot of other smaller tracks within a 100 mile radius.

I lived in Portland right outside of Galitin and Ashland...But going up through the back roads to get back to 64 was a big pain...

you will love tennessee. nice and warm. maybe 3-4 weeks of winter and then it gets warm again. i moved here 10 years ago. piegon forge and gatlinburg is crazy at spring break like said above. and in september they have the grand rod run. its nuts!!!
