Getting screwed on Paypal.

Is there a way someone could get screwed? Im selling something and a buyer seems way to eager and is not even trying to negotiate price. I think somethings up. Is there a way to make sure Im not getting scammed?

Make sure you get signature confirmation in case he tries to say he didn't get it.

make sure he sends it to your actual paypal account. go to www.paypal.com and type in your username and password to check for yourself. sometimes they will send you emails saying that the money has been transferred to your account, but it wont actually be IN your account until you provide them with proof of you shipping the item. that would be a scam

yeah well i didnt think someone would actually be an asshole and pull something like that. Why should i insure a damn foam padded envelope? You cant trust anyone anymore. I would have done the same thing tho if the situation was reversed...

ive had good transactions with paypal......if a problem comes up open a dispute and only contact the other party via paypal, that way paypal has proof u contacted him and to show he contacted u back, the best thing when u ship items is get a tracking number and give it to him and double check it to make sure its right,a adult signature required is always a plus

ive bought items with a money order but i was told u cant insure them when u ship ups.....so i sent it on usps and there tracking systems just sucks

Its funny this gets brought up now. About a month ago I bought a dry jacket ( rubber gasketed jacket for kayaking in cold water ) for $295. Well I paid for it within 10 mins of the auction ending, recieved my jacket in the mail a week later, was very happy with it. Well five days ago I balancing my bank account/check book and paying bills. For some odd reason the $295 was refunded to me. It said on paypal that it was refunded by the seller... No contact from the seller... Thanks guy. I got a free $500 jacket.
