I'll be glad to discuss anything with you. I am at 350/350 and counting. Those numbers are on the stock pi intake BTW.

Nope, it's not a track car. I get this question all the time, and I keep meaning to go to the track and run it. However, I am a lazy bastard and I don't enjoy waiting around for four hours to maybe make two or three runs. I was talking to a guy today who said Bradenton is not very crowded on Tursday nights. So, I may get down there pretty soon and see what's up.

Bob, I hope you didn't take it that way. I want everyone here to have strong 2V's. That is why I am constantly inviting people down to visit and trying to help them squeeze their motors for every last drop of power. I understand alot of people want to see track times to back up dyno numbers. However, everyone knows my deal and I have footage and first hand accounts to back me up. Hell, 98SilverStang rode with me this past weekend and I believe he was impressed. He may have just been being nice though.

If you ever wanted to start a thread for a 2V high horse club that would be awesome, or I could do it. I definitely want to talk about it with you.

So nobody wants to nominate me??

thats cool man, if i lived in your area i'd definitely want to come check it out. if i ever want to get headwork done i would put you on the top of my list thats for sure. i'm impressed with the numbers you come up with. i might be picking up a longblock 2v off craigslist for $150 out of an 01 GT, if i decide to do anything with the heads i would send them to you

Not to be a dick, but your power does not line up with your mods. Are you really going to advertise numbers that you got in 50 degree weather?

my power does line up with my mods. Its is corrected. Brenspeed got 347 with same mods. I know a guy with 350 with same mods. Its right. It was 335 on a dynamics that reads low and that guy told me it would be 350.

What are you saying becuase it 50 it doesnt count? it is a 42 increase over the last dyno that was in 20% its right. sorry 2vavler.

What do you think my power is?

Dude, your dyno says STD (standard/noncorrected) at 52 degrees air temp. I would imagine they made your dyno pull match theirs. They sold you numbers. It happens at shops all around the country every day. I would imagine you're at about 330. I may be wrong though. I'm just pointing out the facts.

the place i had it dynoed didnt sell me the parts or do the work.

I put 350 to the wheels. So what your saying is i need to have it dynoed when its 90? I wont lose 20 hp. its about 3% for every 20degrees so maybe i lose 6hp on a hot day. This isnt my first car. i dont live in florida its cool as much as its hot here, im straight.

thanks i think its a good job too.

I see your point. You run your car where you live. It makes that power where you live- I totally agree. Why did I get flamed when I amde the same point months ago when I dynoed in 80+ degree weather with plenty of humidity and made 348?
Just for the record, yeah, you'll lose or gain 15-25 HP depending on weather conditions. I have seen it on my own car. I dynoed my stock shortblock in 89 degree weather and made 297HP. Three weeks later, it made 314 at 68 degrees during a little cold spell one evening.

3% of 350 is 10.5. A forty degree jump would mean you would see a 21 HP loss according to your calculations.

same dyno? it could have been other factors. I ask him if it was corrected he said yea. It didnt pay attention to that. but neither are the other ones so at least i know what i gained. you shouldnt have got flamed. we all know are cars do better when its cool. And we all know are cars run different on different days anyway. there is no MORE point to knowing what it does when its hot then cold but some guys are stupid like that.

I'll being going to the track soon and that will be the only number that matters anyway, what i can do in my car. But even then, it doesnt mean i could run that every day of the week so? Besides more horespower yesterday but wouldnt hook if i begged it to, so i lose the power but gain the traction when its hot.

Yeah it was the exact same dyno. We were adjusting the drivability on the tune, and we made a preliminary dyno pull to check the A/F ratio.

Sorry i thought rotm was alread picked.

anyway wouldnt corrected assume 70? corrected is just meant to emulate average temp in detroit because that is where it all starts.

i doubt i would lose 20 from 52 to 70. ok ill get outta rotm thread now.
