Ok im a little worried

ok theres a GT in my class like an 01
now im pretty sure this is just in my head but we've done the following to his car
centra force clutch
aluminum driveshaft
bullit steel flywheel
4.10s
K&n filter
bbk shorties
o/r x pipe
slp loud mouth 2s

now with those mods...i felt his car isnt too fast i know i can beat it
after we installed his steeda UD pulleys i was like what?! feels much more then 12-15hp! then we did firewall quadrant, quickrelease quadrant and adjustable clutch cable

after getting a little test in his car in the passenger seat i am amazed...and makes me think if i can beat him?
hes on street tires...wouldnt this car avg about a 13.3-13.5 1/4 time?

my best is 13.1 but with my new clutch aluminum flywheel and driveshaft withmy old 107mph trap im sure i'll get 12s no doubt

but could his car really dip in the 12s on street tires too? it may just be his exhaust thats making me think its so fast but im not sure

aluminum flywheel IMO doesnt help at the strip.

But i would say drivers race.

no ive inspected the car...idk if he really has the 4.10s that was done before we met but im assuming he has it and the parts i mentioned
aluminum driveshaft
4.10s
steel flywheel
centra force clutch
K&n drop in filter
bbk shorties
o/r xpipe with the slp mufflers
then fire wall quadrant
quick release and cable...

mainly a bolt on GT...not really full bolt on
but it just seems faster then any other GT ive been next to
ive raced a few bolt on GTs
i think its his exhaust getting to my head in the car...it does sound mean...got love the GT exhuast

you should beat him if he is on street tires. I bet he will run very similar to what I run.

firewall quadrant allows your to adjust your clutch pedal play from just opening your hood and using your hand

the quick release allows your clutch to disengauge and engauge quicker

Well Chris sometimes some cars just run good, and some are dogs even though they may be the same car, you know?

My last DD, a 2000 Focus, was a car length or two slower than my buddy's 2001 Focus, both with the same 2 liter Z-Tec. Even if we swapped cars, I would then beat my own car with his car. lol

if he did a CAI, TB/Plenum, and tune i'd say he would definitely have you. i think you may be able to beat him if you can run a 13.1 though. if he gets good tires he might beat you though.. race him and find out!

with the tune you should bet him no question. the fastest i have seen a GT with full bolt-on's slicks out back weight reduction and stock v6 wheels up front was 12.77
