Advise needed real bad...Help
Long story short I got a 82 Capri off ebay it was abandoned so I have no title just a bill of sale and the original paper work from the police department allowing the car to be towed away by the towing company.....Now I'm trying to get in registered In Fla....and they want a title..what can I do to solve this...How do I get a title for this car....It's runs it's in good shape just got to make it legal...Hlep me out guys...What can I do?????

In CT they would make you do a title search through the DMV before they let you register it. This takes about a month here, not sure if Florida is the same though. You should be able to get temporary plates while you wait if they do the same thing down there.

Here is a link with the appropriate paperwork for getting a replacement title in Florida. It is not overly difficult. I hope this helps. FAQs on Getting a Hassle Free Title

bribe the clerke...im just kidding. no i'd say yea, apply for a replacement. seller can confirm ownership with a bill of sale. had too do it twice. easy just smile.
