I really didnt have a choice. And in all honesty we thought they would be here. But live and learn, and also shit happens. And dealing with it is just part of life.

The heads were from Alabama Cylinder Head. Turns out they are the same as Patriot Performance. And well they purchased bad castings from ford (450,000) that didnt pass quality control. Turns out I got two heads that the ports were off. So we did get that fixed with a lot of hand porting. But then once it got off the bench, it was noticed that one head had been used before. And not used lightly, it was overheated pretty hard core. The cam journal was actually not round anymore. So that had to be machined, and then checked for spec being that if that has too much play between the cam and the head, oil pressure will not be there and i would loose my bottom end. Also all the valve guides and seals from the heads that were remanufactured, were bad.


And Spencer, I have motivation to put it together. I havent driven it in about a month and the track opend last week.

thats good, i took my car apart to replace the timing cover gasket, that shit ended up sitting for like ... 3 months with out being touched

everybody doesnt belive it wont happen... if it doesnt who cares, it will still be a fast car. But I think i will click of a mid 12 second pass easy.
