Thats bad... I would take thecoveroff, take off girdle off and drip oil on the journals. Then repeat for the other cam girdle.

The cams were never taken off the heads... They still rotated with no problem when we were setting up the timing..

I talked to a couple friends of mine and they said it'd be fine since I never took the cams off and they were used.
Status: COMPLETE!!!! ![]() With one minor issue. Does something go in that thing poking out the back of the tb? There's nothing around the back that plugs in there...

Cause I'm lazy and not concerned about looks
I got the exhaust on just now (by myself... that was fun...) so I just have to run to the store and get some more coolant and after work I'll fire her up.Chiltons says to unplug the spark plugs, leave fuel system off and turn the engine over a bit to build up oil pressure before actually firing the engine... Anyone heard of this? |

Seems a bit smoother like casper said when he did his cam swap. Didn't really romp on it (just took it out for a test spin to make sure everything was alright). I got on it a bit in 2nd and 3rd and I can definitely feel a difference
