Please know who the f*ck the person is working on your PC if you dont do the $hit yourself...

I am working on a customer of mine (sidework)...And she had some "guy" that said he knew IT work on her PC...

This guy has tried every which way to stalk this lady...

I found not 1, not 2, not 3, But 4 KEYLOGGERS on her PC...All sent to his email address...He had installed himself a backdoor to remote into her PC while she was at work and go through her $hit...He had installed at least 7 pieces of spyware and malware remotley on top of that so far...

He is watching the d@mn MAC Addy...

It has literally taken me 5 hours to fix this POS...I wanted to just reload it but she wanted me to try and save it as is...

The registry was hosed...

Task Manager had been disabled...LOL...Weak A$$ registry $hit...The kind of $hit you did when you were like 12 or 13...

This guy is a tool...Im going to hook him up with some $hit...Thought he was slick by turning off the reports in the computer administration panel...But he was a f*cking retard and left his email addy in on the keyloggers...He is done and done...

Goatse, Tubgurl, and other nasty porn subscribed to his email...

Geek Squad is about as useful as tits on a Nun BTW...The lady had taken this computer to Geek Squad...They charged her $300 and said it was done...They should have their heads shoved up their a$$ for thinking they fixed anything...

that is fucked up and i need to take my comp to geek squad because my screen is fucked up and it is under Warranty so the work is free. but when i took it there they said it will take 10 days.

Should of told them thats bullshit! let me talk to your manager and make them give you a loaner (IE. a used monitor) untill you get yours back

I normally do most of my own pc work. Although I'm nowhere near your level of knowledge with them ,Chris, I am not afraid to tear my computer apart and change hardware. I've built a couple of basic computers, so I have general understanding of how to change parts. When I run in to software issues, I usually find a way to stumble through everything and find a solution myself. Worst case scenario, I ain't afraid to format the fucker and reinstall the os. I use a reputable outside company that I pay 50 bucks a year to to host all my important data like personal pictures and videos and so on, so if my computer gets too bad I just format C and move forward.

As Chris says guys, if you have to take it somewhere, make sure it's a reputable shop. Although I do 90% of my own work, on the odd occasion that I do get stuck, I don't look for the cheapest shop in town. I take it to the expensive one with all the diplomas on the wall with guys I know that have been working there for years.


And I know where they live.

Since we are an the subject... I had my old computer give up the farm. I think the power suppy gave out. Never crashed, no ominus blue screen. Just wouldnt power up. So I got a new on & installed the old hard drive next to thew new one. But as luck will have it, they take differnt connectors. Anyone know how I can get my old hd hooked up to tranfer my shit??
